VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Sheyenne Valley Area Career Technology Center (SVACTC) is pursuing a state CTE grant to either build a new facility or to renovate their existing structure in Valley City.
SVACTC Director Derrick Bopp said the board must decide whether to pursue a $10 million grant for a new structure a smaller one to renovate.
He said their maybe some changes with the CTE grant that centers on a health monitoring stipulation.
Bopp said nothing has been finalized by the board.
The 2021 legislative session approved of appropriating $70 million for the creation or expansion of existing Career Technology Centers in the state.
