JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A record amount of Thanksgiving meals were put together by volunteers at the Community Thanksgiving at Concordia Lutheran Church in Jamestown.
While it looked different than other years, volunteers served up turkey and all the fixings for residents of the community. Both delivered and drive-thru, volunteers served 742 meals. This surpasses the amount volunteers have prepared for in previous years.
Last year, the meal was cancelled all together due to the Coronavirus Pandemic.
Volunteers delivered 318 meals with 424 meals picked up by the public.
