JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Arts Center will be preparing their new gallery exhibit to begin December 2nd.

To welcome in the new exhibit, they’ll be hosting a Perfectly Paired event to to hear from the artist responsible for the exhibit “The Art of Writing.” The BisMan Writer’s Guild was started in February 2019 and features a variety of artists that compose the new exhibit.

“Our mission is to uplift local writers throughout North Dakota by promoting, advancing, and supporting them,” the organization states. “We do this by offering workshops, sharing the works of others, and shedding light on the amazing talent of our state. We work hard to bring workshops, write-ins, general get-togethers, as well as go to local events to promote our writers.”

The exhibit is a collaboration between the BisMan Writer’s Guild and North Dakota Art Gallery Association to create the traveling art show, which is funded by the Dakota west Arts Council.

“The Art of Writing is a project unlike any other. This show brings together writers & artists together to create original pieces based on each other’s already established pieces.”

The gallery is open Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM and Saturdays from 10 AM to 2 PM. It is free and open to all.
