JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – After a year off due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Jamestown Downtown Association (JDA) Holiday Dazzle Parade is ready to make its return Friday, November 26th.

JDA President Lynn Lambrecht says the lighted parade in honor of the holidays is traditionally held on the Friday after Thanksgiving beginning at 7 PM.

Following the evening parade, Lambrecht says they congregate at the Gladstone Inn for cookies, hot cocoa, and caroling courtesy of the Jamestown Choralaires.

This year’s grand marshal will be Robin Iszler, the 2020 recipient of the Jamestown Chamber of Commerce Above & Beyond award.

The parade will also be broadcasted on Jamestown 107.1 FM and livestreamed on the NewsDakota Youtube page.

Lambrecht says last year, they had pivoted and came up with the Holiday Christmas Light Decorating contest in lieu of the parade. She says due to the success of the competition, they’re excited to be planning another contest this holiday season.
