JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The EZ Wheels Shrine Club has returned their annual cornhole league for 2022.

The fundraiser was created to raise money for the different Shriners Medical Facilities.

Member Craig Beedy says the cornhole league will start January 5th and run every Wednesday through March 2nd. That will lead up to the cornhole tournament that’s open everyone on March 12th.

Beedy says the league will accept 24 teams and guarantees a total of more than 70 games during the season.

Those interested in signing up is by emailing ezwheels2017@gmail.com and following the EZ Wheels Shrine Club Facebook page. Cost to register is $100 per team and all games will be held at Club 1883, formerly the KC Hall.

Another big fundraiser for the club is the Truck Drop, which will also return in 2022. Joe Burgard says they had great participation in their first iteration of the event.

Burgard says they placed the truck at the end of January and sold tickets for $5 to guess when the truck would officially “drop” through the ice. He added planning is still underway, but everyone should keep their eye out for the truck to be placed next year.
