SIOUX CITY, IA. (jimmiepride.com) – Three players from the University of Jamestown football team have earned all-conference recognition, as the GPAC announced its postseason honors Wednesday.
Izaak Myles (JR/Apple Valley, Calif.) was selected as the first-team punter. Myles averaged 40.5 yards per punt, ranking eighth nationally.
Jordan Olson (JR/Prior Lake, Minn.) was named to the second-team defense. Olson, a cornerback, led the Jimmies with 71 total tackles and six interceptions.
Cade Torgerson (JR/Billings, Mont.) was named honorable mention All-Conference. Torgerson completed 259 of 505 passes for 2978 yards, all new Jimmie season records, and also set single-game records with 42 completions and 72 attempts. Torgerson currently leads the nation in completions and attempts and is fourth in passing yards.
