JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A brief presentation will be followed by the lighting of the trees lining Mill Hill in Jamestown Thursday evening.
The lights will be turned on at around 6 PM to celebrate the incoming holidays. The Shrine clubs of Jamestown teamed up in 2020 to install upwards of $30,000 in lights to the trees on what they refer to as “Shrine Hill.”
EZ Wheels member Joe Burgard says the trees were an effort of four local Shrine groups.
The trees are expected to be lit up at 6 PM Thursday, and each evening at 5 PM using a timer. The trees will then be turned off at around midnight each night.
The Shriners also installed a giant fez at the top of the hill new Lloyds Toyota, where the brief presentation will be held.
