LAMOURE, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – Ten members of the 9B state champion LaMoure-Litchville/Marion Loboes were named to the All-Region 1 team on Monday afternoon.
Senior quarterback Corban Potts topped the list for LaMoure as he was also named the Region 1 Senior Athlete of the Year. Potts accounted for 37 total touchdowns this season, including four in the state title game. He was joined by Charlie Bowman, Colton Ness, Garrett Hebl, Brady Lettenmeier, Brock Wendel, and Tate Mart on the 9B Region 1 team.
Lettenmeier carried the ball for over 1800 yards and 23 touchdowns during the 2021 season. On defense, Hebl led LaMoure in tackles with 178, and Mart finished with a team-high 10 interceptions. The Loboes will return Ness, Hebl, Lettenmeier, Wendel, and Mart next season.
Honorable mentions from the Loboes included Brayden Steffes, Wyatt Weight, and Anthony Hanson. All three will return for their senior seasons next year. LLM captured its first state title since 1991 with a 42-14 victory over Cavalier in the 9B title game.
