JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Salvation Army announced their 2021 Red Kettle Campaign goal Monday afternoon at Harold Newman Arena.

Major Judy Lowder says volunteers, donors, and bell ringers will be tasked with raising $167,000, with all donations staying local and assisting the Salvation Army with their yearly services.

Major Lowder says beginning November 16th through the rest of the year, the public will see bell ringers manning kettles at different locations around Jamestown. She added that those who still want to help but can’t ring, they have virtual kettle opportunities.

With many hours available for ringers to volunteer, Lowder added they’re already seeing a good amount of volunteers step forward, encouraging clubs, athletic teams, and businesses to compete to raise the most donations.

You can sign up to volunteer at registertoring.com or contact Major Judy Lowder at 701-252-0290 or 701-269-3930 or email Judy.Lowder@usc.SalvationArmy.org.
