JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A tree decorating fundraiser for the holidays will be helping out a local non-profit and family this Christmas.

A fundraiser created by Jill Edinger of Sapphire Gallery features a tree trimming opportunity with proceeds benefitting the equine therapy program A Moment of Freedom (AMOF). Annie Keffeler says they’ve been operating as a non-profit for the last few years, relying on grants and donations to maintain.

Edinger has volunteered with the non-profit and decided to come up with a tree trimming fundraiser.

The family that receives the tree will be picked later this year.

Edinger says her first-hand experience inspired the festive fundraising idea.

Those wanting to participate can make any level of donation that will then decorate the tree with different color ornaments. The fundraiser will run through December 24th with all proceeds being donated.

Keffeler says they’ve had a great 2021 year and have seen growth in the program.

You can make donations at Sapphire Gallery in Jamestown during operating hours. For more information, call Jill Edinger at 701-302-0234 or stop by 109 1st St W.
