JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The second weekend is expected to provide better hunting weather in North Dakota.

Game & Fish Wildlife Biologist Doug Leier says they see many questions arise throughout the deer gun season.

Leier says another common question that can arise is if hunters shoot deer with a prior injury or there’s color to the meat, he says the deer tag only gives the opportunity to hunt and doesn’t guarantee anything else.

More common questions and answers can be found on the Game & Fish Department’s website at gf.nd.gov.
