CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Carrington Public School Board met Tuesday for their normal meeting in the High School ITV room.

Superintendent Kris Kuehn states they had numerous reports, including the addition of two new crosswalks north of the Elementary school.

Kuehn says they continue to instruct face to face as they teach through the pandemic. He says COVID cases have been “manageable” for the district.

He reports that a high number of their High School student population are on a recognized honor roll.

A big announcement was also made regarding a donation for the football stadium renovations.

Kuehn says they remain in the preliminary stages of funding planning. He says they also have another project regarding ESSER 3 funding, which will go towards heating and HVAC in the VoAg shop. Kuehn added the board gave permission for him to seek a quote on how much the project will cost.

If finances are ready, both projects could be started in the Spring of 2022.
