JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Anne Carlsen Chief Executive Officer Tim Eissinger is pleased to announce a $2 million gift from John Ballantyne and Vicky Berg of Fargo to be used to help build a new 110,000 sq. ft. campus facility in Jamestown.
“We were looking for really meaningful ways to contribute to the immediate and regional vicinity,” said Berg, “When John told me about Anne Carlsen, it was a no-brainer.” Berg is a Denial Coding Analyst at Sanford.
“This gift is one of the most generous we have ever received at Anne Carlsen. John and Vicky understand how important our mission is for the children and families we serve, not only in Jamestown, but across all the services provided in our community locations across North Dakota.” Eissinger said. “This gift will ensure that those with the most critical needs are able to receive the services, supports, therapies and educational programming they so critically need, and that Anne Carlsen has proudly provided for over 80 years.” Eissinger added.
A history dedicated to individuals and their families, with a mission to make the world more inclusive resonated with Ballantyne, the Chief Scientific Officer and Co-Founder of Aldevron LLC.
Ballantyne stated, “There is a great deal of dignity in independence. It is really part of the maturation process of an individual. The efforts the Anne Carlsen Center makes in this regard are laudable.”
The gift preceded a groundbreaking for the new campus at a location along Interstate 94, immediately east of the Jamestown Regional Medical Center.
