OAKES, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – “When the boys are away, the girls will play” is the slogan for this weekend’s Deer Widows Vendor Show. Local vendors, a fundraiser for the Oakes Archery Club, door prizes, and much more will be going on this Friday and Saturday in Oakes. The event will be from 4-7 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday at Oakes City Hall.

Oakes Chamber Director Kausha Magill talked about all of the great sales going on at the event as well.

Magill said, “It’s a great place to maybe find some Christmas gifts. I know it’s early, but it kind of feels chilly this morning!”
