BISMARCK, N.D. (NorthStar Athletic Association) – The North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) announced its tenth edition of the Football Players-of-the-Week honors Monday.  Conor McCarvel of Dickinson State (N.D.) was selected as the Offensive Player-of-the-Week, while his teammate Isaiah Kludt was chosen as the Special Teams Player-of-the-Week.  Jahidi West of Valley City State (N.D.) was named as the Defensive Player-of-the-Week.

NSAA Football Defensive Player of the Week
Jahidi West – Valley City State (N.D.) – 5’10” – 210 lbs., Sophomore – linebacker – Stockton, Calif. – West tallied a team-high 11 tackles (4 solo, 7 assist), a forced fumble, and a broke-up pass in Valley City State’s (N.D.) 21-14 come-from-behind victory at Waldorf (Iowa).  With the Warriors driving in the final minute, West forced a fumble at the VCSU’s 30-yard line that the Vikings recovered to preserve the victory.
