men-are-dogs-show

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Community Theatre group 2nd ACT has their next production set after a year off.

The troupe will perform “Men Are Dogs” for two nights on November 12th & 13th at the Jamestown Arts Center. Director Carrie Roemmich says this is her first attempt at directing a show after having performed in the theatre before.

Despite the title, the play is a comedy centered on Dr. Cecelia Monahan with a serious problem. Samantha Carlson plays the lead role in the show.

Darin Hassel portrays “Bob”, one of only two male characters in the play.

The show will be accompanied by a meal with dinner served at 6 PM and the show at 7 PM each evening.

Hassel added that in the past, there have been three shows. But with only two shows and less competing events, he believes tickets will go very quickly.

Tickets are $30 for Arts Center Members and $35 for non-members and are required for reservation and the meal. Catering will be done by Emma Rosie’s Homecooking.

Carlson says to get your tickets early and prepare for a delicious meal and great show.
