KANSAS CITY, MO. (NewsDakota.com) – Following a quarterfinal appearance in the NAIA National Tournament last season, the University of Jamestown men’s basketball team checked in at #19 in the preseason top 25.
The Jimmies are one of two GPAC teams to crack the top 25, including Morningside who came in at #12. Jamestown and Morningside face off on January 1st at Harold Newman Arena and February 11th in Sioux City. UJ begins GPAC play on November 17th against Dakota Wesleyan at home.
Jamestown is 2-0 on the year following an 80-67 win over Presentation Collge on Tuesday night, and the Jimmies return to play on Friday night at 7 pm when they host Trinity Bible College.
