ABERDEEN, SD. (NewsDakota.com) – The University of Jamestown women’s basketball team hit the road on Tuesday night and picked up a decisive 81-34 victory over Presentation.

It was a dominant first half for Jamestown, led by Kia Tower who had 12 first-half points. The Jimmies created 12 turnovers during the first 20 minutes of play, and built a 40-17 lead at the break, and never looked back.

Tower played just three minutes in the second half, wrapping up the night with 14 points, four rebounds, and two assists. Hannah DeMars was the only other Jimmie to finish in double figures, ending the night with 11 points and four rebounds. Off the bench, Sarah Lenz had nine points in eight minutes played on 3-of-5 shooting.

UJ shot 48% from the field and 39% from three-point range. 14 different Jimmies ended up with at least a point in the win on the road.

Jamestown now holds a 3-0 overall record on the season and will have the next 10 days off before returning to play on November 6th at Mayville State.
