BISMARCK, N.D. (Prairie Public Radio) – North Dakota’s September not seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 2.6 percent.

That compares with 3.2 percent in August, and 4 percent in September 2020.

Marcia Havens is the Labor Market Information Manager for Job Service North Dakota.

Havens says the biggest decreases in employment came in hospitality, especially in accommodations and food service. And she says there are still a lot of jobs available.

The national not seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for September was 4.6 percent.
