LAMOURE, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – LaMoure-Litchville-Marion, the #1 ranked team in the State in 9 man football, had no trouble in their playoff game Saturday with Mayville-Portland-Cliffard-Gal
The Loboes scored on their opening drive and built a 22-0 lead by halftime and never looked back.
L-L-M put together a nine-play 72-yard drive to start the game that was capped off when Junior RB Brady Lettenmaier rumbled in from four yards out. Lettenmaier had a monster game with four TD runs.
Senior QB Corban Potts threw his 22nd TD pass of the season with a seven-yard strike to Senior Charlie Bowman.
Junior Tate Mart was huge on both sides of the ball with two picks and a five-yard TD run.
The Loboes have now shut out eight of their nine opponents and have outscored their nine victims 505 to 12.
L-L-M is now 9-0 on the season and will host Grant County Flasher in the quarterfinals Saturday, October 30th at 1:00 pm at Townsend Field in LaMoure.
