loyal-to-local

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Chamber of Commerce is getting a head start on the holiday shopping this year with a new passport program geared at promoting local shopping.

The Loyal to Local Passport campaign will have residents shopping locally from participating businesses, who will then stamp their “passport” and be eligible to win prizes.

Chamber Executive Director Emily Bivens says they’re looking at launching the program right after Thanksgiving this November.

Bivens added the program helps support the Chamber’s mission of growing and promoting local business, but the economic impact is also a high priority.

At this time, participating merchants are needed to be sponsors, donate prizes, and be a passport location. The Jamestown Chamber of Commerce will also use the Local to Loyal campaign as a marketing tool for those participating. The campaign will run through January 8th, 2022.

Any business in Jamestown or Stutsman County interested in participating can sign up by contacting the Jamestown Chamber of Commerce office at 701-252-4830 or email Emily Bivens at director@jamestownchamber.com
