JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – After nearly 80 years of service in Jamestown, the Anne Carlsen Center took a big step forward on their new $41 million dollar facility Tuesday afternoon.

After a successful fundraising drive, the organization continues to work with USDA Rural Development and bidding the project. The new location would be next to the Jamestown Regional Medical Center at 2200 20th St. SW.

Eric Monson is the Co-Chair for the Pathways Building Committee.

Jamestown Mayor Dwaine Heinrich gave his greetings from the city and encouragement for the undertaking of the planned extensive project.

Tim Eissinger, Chief Executive Officer for the Anne Carlsen Center, says the community’s continued support over their years of service has helped lead to this day for the center.

Other speakers included representatives of Senator John Hoeven, Senator Kevin Cramer, and Representative Kevin Armstrong.

USDA Programs Director for USDA Rural Development Mark Wax says they were excited to part of the project.

Chief Development Officer Mike Meyer shared some words from the Anne Carlsen family.
