JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Students of Mrs. Tiffany Dooley’s 8th Grade Earth Science class had a unique experience as part of their recent curriculum.
Dooley says they started doing this unique project a few years ago after some students showed interest in the green screen and weather forecasters you see on TV.
Dooley says past students have enjoyed the learning experience.
Jason Linz of Jamestown Video says he’s glad his equipment can be utilized as a learning tool for Mrs. Dooley’s class.
Students were responsible for creating their own script and slides. The “forecast” they would give explained pressures, highs and lows for temperature, and more.
Linz added that he would use his equipment to capture the students work, edit it, and would later have it shown to the class. He said all of the work came from the students.
