JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Stutsman County Human Rights Coalition (SCHRC) will be hosting a speaker on October 21st.
SCHRC Member Pam Phillips says it’s their first in-person event and is open to the public. The speaker will be Lynne Tally, Executive Director of Jamestown Safe Shelter.
“Safe Shelter is committed to empowering victims of physical, emotional, and sexual violence by offering information which will allow them to choose their own courses of action and by supporting them as they act on those choices,” the SCHRC states.
Tally will speak on her work with the organization at 7 PM at the Jamestown Arts Center. The event is free and open to the public. Pizza and refreshments will be served.
