JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Stutsman County Wildlife Federation (SCWF) is hopeful some pancake stacks will assist them with future events and their ongoing conservation efforts.

SCWF is a sportsman’s club based in Stutsman County. The club was founded in 1915 to promote sound wildlife management.

Cathleen O’Higgins is a member of the local group.

One of their popular events is the Youth Pheasant Hunt, which had great attendance on Sunday, October 3rd.

To assist with their causes, O’Higgins says the non-profit relies on fundraising efforts to maintain their opportunities in Stutsman County. Typically a large banquet is held as their biggest fundraiser, but O’Higgins says they’re taking a safe approach with the fundraiser this year.

The club will be serving stacks of pancakes from 8 AM to 1 PM at McElroy Park on October 9th. Cost is $6 a plate or $15 with membership. $20 a family or $30 with membership. Children 5 and under eat free. There will also be raffle items available and no tickets will be sold ahead of time.
