JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Fall Career & Internship Fair is taking place Tuesday at the University of Jamestown.
The fair will be open to both students and the general public with access to more than 40 different businesses and career opportunities in the area. Dr. Heidi Larson is the Director of Career Services and Experiential Education.
Dr. Larson says they invite both public and students to the fair. She added someone may be looking for a career change or may even be new to the public and job seeking.
Students who attend University of Jamestown online and are unable to attend the fair will be given a list of the registered companies, job openings and representative emails upon request.
Positions expected at the Tuesday event include Tax Interns, DSP’s, Registered Nurse & LPN, Electrical Engineers, Correctional Officers, Quality Engineers, Warehouse, Sales/Marketing, IT, Police Officers, Sales Internships, and more. Representatives from across the state will be in attendance.
Dr. Larson says businesses who are interested in giving information for future opportunities can also do so different ways through the fair and her office.
The Fall Career & Internship Fair will run from 11 AM to 2 PM in the Lobby of the Harold Newman Arena. Some employers may conduct additional interviews on campus following the fair.
