JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – With over 500 businesses and counting, Pride of Dakota has featured and promoted locally grown and made products and services for over 35 years.
Pride of Dakota offers business development resources and marketing opportunities to help local business owners start or expand their business. Administered by the North Dakota Department of Agriculture, Commissioner Doug Goehring says some companies have expanded beyond the state.
Goehring says Pride of Dakota features anything from gourmet food and books to homemade goods and items for pets and children. Within their program, he says they work with individuals to promote and market their business.
Showcases around the state will allow any Pride of Dakota member to showcase their goods and services. Goehring says in Jamestown, their annual Pride of Dakota Showcase has had stellar turnout and participation.
Admission to the Jamestown Civic Center will be free for the showcase on Friday, October 1st and Saturday October 2nd. Hours will be 4 PM to 9 PM Friday and 9 AM to 5 PM Saturday.
