VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Hi-Liners returned home on Tuesday night looking to get back into the win column after losing their match last Thursday. Things didn’t get any easier for Valley City as they welcomed 7-2 West Fargo to town. The Packers swept the three game set winning, 25-15, 25-11, and 25-6.

In the first match of the evening West Fargo went on to win 25 to 15. This was the closest and most competitive match of the night. West Fargo despite being the road team came out with a lot of energy lead by Junior Chloe Pfau. The Middle Hitter completly dominated the first game from the front court in helping her team to victory.

In the second match of the evening West Fargo continued with the high energy on the night and won 25 to 11. As well as getting production from Pfau, they also saw Senior Nadia Chwialkowsi announce her prescence in this game. Both players were all over the court as they had great chemistry throughout the evening.

In the final match of the night, the Hi-Liners came out with energy and passion to start, Taking the early lead for the first time on the night, thanks to Peyton Pederson, Dylann Diegel, and Addy Kvilvang. However, West Fargo matched the intensity and just refused to back down. The Packers took the third and final set 25 to 6 making quick work of the home team.

The loss drops the Hi-Liners to 4-9 on the season. Valley City will be back in action Thursday night at home as this time they welcome in Fargo North. First match is set for 7pm, and you can hear the call of the game on KOVC.
