Coach Matt Nielson had this to say after todays action. “We upped our play from the two previous matches. Kai was out due to illness so Trey stepped into #1 doubles with Seth and they played a fantastic match to earn Valley City’s lone victory on the day. Everyone needed to move up a spot and hit our Hi-Liner Pillars while doing so – positive attitude, 100% effort, and sportsmanship. Emmett was really setting up points well. Miles has never played a varsity singles match and he won a set! He played 6 sets today with both of his matches going the distance. With the loss, we are guaranteed the #7 seed and will host the #10 seed on Monday at 4:30pm in the play-in match.”
