SIOUX CITY, IA. (JimmiePride.com) – Cassandra Diaz (JR/Montebello, Calif.) from the University of Jamestown women’s soccer team has been named GPAC Offensive Player of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday.

Diaz had four goals last week, including a hat trick in the Jimmies’ 4-2 win at Morningside (Iowa) University on Saturday. She also had a goal in UJ’s 2-1 double-overtime win at Midland (Neb.) University on Thursday.

For the season, Diaz leads Jamestown with seven goals, which has surpassed her career total of four entering 2021.

The Jimmies, 7-0 overall and 2-0 in the GPAC, host Hastings (Neb.) College on Thursday and Doane (Neb.) University on Saturday.
