LAMOURE, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) In a battle of two of the top teams in District 5 and the state in Class B volleyball, the Loboes of Lamoure/Litchville/Marion defeat the Cardinals of Carrington 3-1 (27-25, 17-25, 26-24, 25-23). LLM improves to 9-2-1 overall and 3-0 in district 5 play, Carrington drops to 4-4 overall and 1-1 in district 5. Both teams receiving votes in the latest Class B Volleyball poll for the top ten teams.

Leading with a game high 19 kills was Senior Molly Musland for the Loboes, Sophomore Heidi Steffes added 16 kills and five stuff blocks. The Cardinals were led by Senior Sydnie Grager with 15 kills and three stuff blocks, Junior Haley Wolsky added 11 kills and one ace.

Next up for Carrington will be on Tuesday, Sept. 28th at Ellendale, KDAK will have the broadcast starting about 7pm
