JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Kim Diede used her experiences growing up in the Jamestown area to write her current series “Celia’s Gifts.”
Diede says she was a bit late getting into writing.
She pointed out she is not a full time writer, but actually writes in her spare time while working a full-time job.
Since she started writing, Diede has published six books and is currently working on her seventh. While she enjoys both fiction and non-fiction, she says inspiration from her “Aunt Mary” inspired her first novel and continues to fuel the story lines of her series.
Diede added that her goal is to develop stories readers can relate to about people that feel like friends.
“I love a good horror story as much as the next person, but in a world filled with sadness and tragedy, my mission is to offer stories that inspire hope and optimism versus fear and hate,” Diede states.
Diede will be at a book signing this Saturday, September 25th at Sapphire Gallery from 10 AM to 12 PM. She says she will also be signing books that have been purchased prior to her visit.
