CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakoa.com) – Dakota Growers Pasta Company has moved another step forward with plans for a new truck scale at their site near Carrington.
During the recent Carrington City Council meeting, Mayor Tom Erdmann says they entered into a purchase agreement with 8th Ave. Foods Wednesday.
Mayor Erdmann says the amendment was just to extend the original purchase agreement from earlier this year.
Several ordinances were also passed related to alcohol license operators in the city.
In other city news, Erdmann says the Carrington Fire Department will be holding their annual haunted house at the Armory on October 29th, 30th, and 31st. The department also purchased a 1996 freightliner truck to replace an older one on the fleet.
Erdmann says in the Carrington Police Department, the search continues for a new Chief of Police.
The next regular council meeting will be October 11th at 7:30 PM.
