MINOT, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – An early goal for the Magicians proved to be all Minot needed on Tuesday night as they took down Jamestown 1-0 at Duane Carlson Stadium.
The lone goal in the match for the top team in the WDA came during the 11th minute after Cayden Gibbons scored off an assist from Kade Anderson for his third goal of the year. It was a busy match in goal for Jamestown’s Ryan Larson who stood strong, collecting a season high 12 saves on 13 total shots.
The Blue Jays drop to 3-7 overall this season and in the WDA, and currently sit near the bottom of the table.
