VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Barnes County Road 21 (known as the Kathryn road) is now open all the way to Kathryn, North Dakota.
Barnes County Highway Roads Superintendent Kerry Johnson said the hill slide repair project north of Kathryn was challenging.
He said a road grade raise north of Litchville is about three weeks from completion.
Johnson said at the end of September a contractor will install a concrete box culvert along the river road northwest of Valley City or just northwest of the U.S. Fish Hatchery. He said the work should take about ten days to complete weather permitting.
