JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The annual Gospel Music Jamboree will make its return on Sunday, September 12th at Temple Baptist Church.

Organizer Christine Witt says the fun, relaxing Sunday event will feature classic gospel music.

Local favorites including Bernie Satrom and his performance of “The Long Black Train” will return as well as last years favorites Curt Erickson & Kim Softing of Hawley, MN.

New this year, Witt says they were able to bring in special guest Danny Funderburk from North Carolina. Funderburk previously performed with the Cathedral Quartet and has been a guest on the famous Gaither Gospel Hour.

Witt says the event is a freewill offering, which she says proceeds will benefit the Jamestown Salvation Army this year.

A lunch will be provided by Victory Christian School following the Jamboree. The jamboree will begin at 2:30 PM and is open to all. Temple Baptist Church is located at 1200 12th Ave. NE in Jamestown.
