VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Choral Music Director with the Valley City Public School District resigned suddenly on Tuesday, September 7th.

Valley City Public Schools Superintendent Josh Johnson said quote, “we are not going to provide comment on personnel matters in our school district.”

Since then, NewsDakota.com has learned that teacher Mark Reeves resigned a few days after he posted comments on a social media website that were considered offensive by some people in the community. So far, NewsDakota.com has been unable to reach Reeves for a comment.

Johnson said an interim Choral Music Director will fill the position until another individual is hired.
