On a windy day in Jamestown, the Hi-Liners beat the Blue Jays 4-1 in a non-conference match.

  1. Seth Zeltinger defeated Mason Lunzman 7-5, 3-6, 10-0
  2. Kai Kringlie defeated Camron Anderson 6-1, 6-1
  3. Trey Cope defeated Kai Backen 6-1, 6-3

Doubles:

  1. Alex Rogelstad/Emmett Olson lost to Gage Orr/Max Fronk 6-3, 6-2
  2. Casey Kruger/Miles Taylor defeated Kane Schmidt/Adam Sortland 6-3, 6-2

After the matches Coach Nielson was pleased with his team saying, “We put out a line-up to give us the best shot at winning the match.  We thought that we were stronger at #1-3 singles so we went 1, 2, 3 in our line-up.  For doubles, we evened up our #1 and #2 in hopes of a win at #2.  Our kids went out in the wind and executed leading to the win.”

The Tennis team is back in action on the road versus Shanley at Island Park at 4pm on Thursday.  The team will then have a quick turn around and play Mandan at home at 11am on Friday followed by the West Fargo Invite on Saturday.
