ELLENDALE, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Landowners, farmers, and anyone interested in soil health and topics will get their hands dirty during an upcoming September 7th event.

“Digging for the Bottom Line” will feature different speakers from the NDSU Department of Soil Science, ND Pheasants Forever, James River Soil Conservation District, Truterra, and more south of Ellendale as they discuss different topics on soil.

Austin Lang works with ND Pheasants Forever.

Lang says holding events like this open up the chance for landowners and farmers to not only tap into the knowledge and information these professionals can provide, but also allows them to network and talk with others to share what they know.

The event will be held south of Ellendale on Highway 281 about 4 miles to the State Line Road, then 4.5 miles west just past 85th Avenue. The farm where the event will be held will be on the south side of the road.

“Digging for the Bottom Line” will run from 9:30 AM to about 1 PM with a free lunch provided.

If you have questions, you can call Austin Lang at 701-840-3062 or the James River Soil Conservation District at 701-349-3653 Ext. 3.
