JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Young Sabrina has always wanted to be a ballerina and take in a ballet.
On Saturday, her wish came true.
Sabrina’s mother Tiffany Zimmerman says her daughter has always been interested in the ballet.
Sabrina has Rubinstein-Taybi syndrome, an uncommon condition that affects 1 in 100,000 to 125,000 newborns.
Tori Schrantz with Make-A-Wish North Dakota says Sabrina was referred to the foundation. When they learned her wish was to be a ballerina and take in a ballet, volunteers quickly sprang into action.
Dancers with Top of the Stairs Dance Studio in Jamestown performed several sets for Sabrina and her family before she joined them on stage.
Schrantz says the Make-A-Wish Foundation in North Dakota grants around 50 wishes for kids all over the state every year.
Below are some photos from Sabrina’s busy day.
