VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Valley City Public Schools is gathering public input and exploring options on how to use $3.3 million dollars available in federal funding for the school district.

Superintendent Josh Johnson said discussions are underway as to whether the school district should renovate older facilities or build a new structure. He said the proposal is focused on the portion of the high school that was built in 1919 and the two elementary schools constructed in the 1960’s.

More details about these proposed options will be released next month. The full interview with Josh Johnson is available below or on the KOVC Podcast on the home page of NewsDakota.com
