JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – City of Jamestown crews will begin blocking some streets for the UJ Block Party set for Wednesday.

Crews will begin setting up barricades and detour signs in the downtown district in preparation of the University of Jamestown Block Party being held tomorrow. This will begin at approximately 1:00 PM until finished today.

Motorists should use extreme caution and watch for workers in this area.

Tomorrow, August 25th, there will be a road closure on 1st Ave S for the event. This closure will begin at approximately 6:00 AM and continue throughout the day. Barricades and detour signs will be
removed at approximately 9:00 PM following the Block Party.

Motorists should use extreme caution and take alternate routes during this time. There will be detour signs put in place by the Street Department.
