JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The 15th annual North Dakota Patriot Guard (NDPG) Rally will be held this Saturday, August 21st.
The Patriot Guard attends funeral services of fallen American heroes as invited guests of the family. They show support for the heroes, families, and their communities. When necessary, they also act as a barrier or shield for the mourning family and friends from protesters.
They do so through legal and non-violent means.
Monte Rodacker is a member of the North Dakota Patriot Guard.
He says anyone can be a part of the North Dakota Patriot Guard.
The annual ride has seen upwards of more than 300 riders in previous years.
The ride is open to the public and costs $20 per motorcycle.
Registration for the ride will take place at 9:30 AM at the Jamestown Civic Center with kickstands up at 11 AM. The procession will ride from Jamestown to Lisbon for a lunch and back to Jamestown with a supper at the All Vets Club.
For the safety of the Veterans, masks may be required while visiting. All proceeds with go to benefit the veterans.
