This is the final story in our back to school line for the Jamestown Public School District
JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Tomorrow is the big day for students returning to the Jamestown Public Schools for the 2021-2022 school year.
The Jamestown Public School District remains excited about the opportunities for their student athletes and community with the shared-use facility between themselves and the University of Jamestown. Superintendent Dr. Rob Lech says the project is almost complete and it’s been an exciting thing to be a part of.
Dr. Lech says the school district committed $2 million for the project with the remaining $10 million fundraised in around a year.
While the Hansen/Greeno field renovations take the spotlight, Dr. Lech says another important piece of the project was a critical one for the local school district.
Dr. Lech says the field will provide a versatile tool for their High School Campus.
The field was completed last week and Dr. Lech expects those who use it to be impressed with the scope it provides for the Jamestown Public School District.
