Captain Gross was awarded the 2021 North Dakota Peace Officer’s Association “Lone Eagle Award.”

The Lone Eagle Award is an honor presented annually to an active and a retired Peace Officer, each of whom, in the eyes of their comrades has contributed guidance, inspiration, and support throughout his career as a law enforcement official in the State of North Dakota. This award was created in 1979 to recognize a North Dakota Peace Officer who “…has shown incorruptible soundness or moral character and faithful adherence to ethical principles.”

Major Falk was awarded the 2021 North Dakota Peace Officer of the Year Award.

Peace Officer of the Year is the highest honor given by the NDPOA, based upon outstanding service, professional dignity, and unselfish personal contributions to the citizens of North Dakota.

“Congratulations,” the Jamestown Police Department stated in a media post. “There couldn’t be two more deserving officers. We are proud of both of you.”
