Many enjoyed the first ever Fishing for a Cause in 2020
JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – An event that was voted the best outdoor event in 2020 for Jamestown will return for it’s second annual on August 14th.
The Jamestown El Zagal Mystics have teamed up with Lazy Fish to bring back Fishing for a Cause. Mystics member Craig Mehlhaff says they’ve been planning since they finished the first event at Pelican Point.
Mehlhaff says new this year is the raffle to raise money for Elk’s Camp Grassick. This includes more than $20,000 in raffle items to give away. The day will be filled with a Little Tyke Fishing Tournament from 10 AM to 12 PM, food and drinks, DJ, face painting and inflatables, and a live concert during the evening.
An added thing for the kids will be the kids raffle with prizes given away all day.
Mehlhaff says events they hold like Fishing for a Cause helps them meet their primary mission.
Raffle tickets are available from any Mystics member as well as some of the numerous business and organization sponsors.
