JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Stutsman County Museum is planning to return their ice cream social this Sunday, August 8th.

Museum Curator Alden Kollman says the social is a way to invite visitors new and old into their building.

Kollman says their inventory process has helped them clear some space and put out new exhibits for visitors to see.

The ice cream social will run from 2 PM to 4 PM and is free to the public. Kollman pointed out that they will host the social both inside and outside the museum. In the event of weather, the event will be held inside. There will also be no sing-a-long this year.

Kollman added they’ve returned their fun “Murder at the Museum” this year.

The Stutsman County Museum is open all week long from 10 AM to 5 PM and weekends from 1 PM to 5 PM. You can visit stutsmanmuseum.org or call (701) 252-6741 for more information.
