The Celebration of Life Service for Luella Ten Pas, 92, Litchville, North Dakota will be 2 pm Sunday, August 8, 2021 at the Oliver-Nathan Funeral Chapel, Valley City, North Dakota. Inurnment will be in the Litchville Cemetery. She passed away Friday, July 30, 2021 at CHI Mercy Hospital, Valley City.
Luella Mae Liebing was born on December 9, 1928 in Valley City, the daughter of Arthur and Beatrice (Duven) Liebing. She attended school at Greenland Consolidated School and graduated from Marion High School.
Luella was united in marriage to Wesley Ten Pas on February 1, 1951 at Litchville. They made their home north of Litchville where they farmed. Luella enjoyed the country and farm life. She was a “very good combine driver”. Wesley passed away on October 14, 2012. She continued to make her home on the farm.
She was a member of the First Reformed Church, Litchville.
She is survived by her three children, Duane Ten Pas, Litchville; Sandra Bonde, Fargo, North Dakota, and her son Ryan (Erin) Bonde; and Connie (Kenton) Pontius, Cocoa Beach, Florida, and their two sons, Austin Pontius and Tyler (Kylie) Pontius; a brother Don (Myrt) Liebing, Jamestown, North Dakota; and two sisters, Myrna (Gerald) Ferm, Lake Havasu City, Arizona and Beth (Dennis) Johnson, Vermillion, South Dakota.
