VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Valley City Post 60 Legion baseball club is just days away from their first game of the Class A  State Legion tournament. The Royal’s first game of the double elimination tournament will be Friday evening at 7pm against the host team of the tournament, Jamestown.  All games of the tournament will be played at Jack Brown Stadium in Jamestown.

On Thursday, July 29th there is going to be a Tournament send off supper. It will be at the Eagles and start at 6:30pm. The community is welcome to join for food, drinks, and fun! Pasta will be served as well. Prices for the event are still being discussed.

For Friday, the team will receive a police escort out of town at 3:30pm. The plan is to go down Main Street and out towards Jamestown. If you would like to, you can head on out and wave the boys good luck as they depart for their game tomorrow night at 7pm against Jamestown.
