JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A pancake feed and parade kicked off a very full and busy Saturday for the city of Jamestown.

As a community celebration, Buffalo Days saw hundreds turnout. Jamestown Fire Chief Jim Reuther says before the parade, they had served more than 600 people Saturday morning in the Jamestown Fire Department Pancake Feed. Final numbers will be available later this week.

Jamestown Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Emily Bivens reports they had more than 70 parade entries with more than 100 vehicles, organizations, and more being represented.

The afternoon was filled with the Young Professionals of Jamestown’s Cornhole Tournament, Show and Shine and concert at McElroy Park, and Big Guns of the Old West at Fort Seward. The Big Guns will be held again Sunday afternoon and is open to the public.
